Chandhiok & Mahajan (“C&M”) is acting as legal counsel to the Thailand‑based Indorama Ventures Group on the proposed merger of its global packaging business, housed under Indovida India Private Limited, with EPL Limited (“EPL”) -currently backed by Blackstone.

The transaction, valued at approximately USD 2 billion, will result in Indorama Ventures Group acquiring a controlling stake in EPL and represents the creation of a strong platform in the global packaging sector.
