Avinash heads the firm’s Hyderabad office and the South India disputes practice. He is a highly regarded competition lawyer and has been recognized as a Next Generation Partner by Legal 500, a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation, and as one of India’s top 100 lawyers with more than 10 years of experience by Forbes. He is also recognized as one of India’s top 40 lawyers under 40 years of age by BW Legal.
He specializes in advising clients on complex competition law and disputes matters. Avinash acts for several leading global and Indian companies, including Google, Intel, Samsung, a leading seller on Amazon, BookMyShow, Goodyear, Ball Corporation, and Asianet Digital.
He is an Advocate-on-Record with the Supreme Court of India. He regularly appears and argues before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, CCI, NCLAT, and other tribunals in India.
Avinash has also represented clients in several merger control matters requiring complex remedies, including Novartis, Lafarge, and Linde. Avinash has assisted the CCI as a special adviser in drafting CCI’s first ever divestment order.
