Ayush Kulshrestha is an Associate in the Data Privacy team at
Chandhiok & Mahajan, advising clients across technology, fintech,
e-commerce, and digital services sectors. His work focuses on
data protection compliance under the DPDP Act and IT Act,
intermediary liability, cybersecurity, consumer protection,
advertising and fintech. He advises on data collection, sharing,
and processing practices under Indian and EU privacy laws. He
supports clients in implementing compliance frameworks under
the DPDP Act, preparing for breach response, and reviewing
privacy-related documents such as policies, notices, consent
forms, and terms and conditions. Prior to joining C&M, Ayush
worked with the data privacy team of one of India’s leading
aviation companies, handling contract portfolios to assess privacy
risks and leading GDPR-aligned data mapping for internal systems
and third-party engagements. He is a CIPP/E-certified
professional from the International Association of Privacy
Professionals (IAPP), with expertise in global privacy frameworks,
including the GDPR.
