Raghav Tankha is a Senior Associate in the Data Privacy team of Chandhiok & Mahajan. He previously worked in Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co in data privacy. He specialises in understanding compliance and regulatory challenges under the DPDP Act, 2023 as well as AI regulation in India and offering solutions. Raghav has over 8 years of experience in working in the field of data privacy. He has worked on and has been involved in landmark privacy litigation before the Supreme Court of India while working in the chambers of Mr Kapil Sibal, Senior Advocate.

He has contributed critical research on regulatory compliances while working at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co related to the DPDP Act, 2023. He has consistently been writing on critical issues relating to data privacy in India. He has published articles on the legality of targeted advertisements, on the conflict of data retention under the DPDP Act, 2023 with sectoral regulations. He has also examined the emergence of anti-encryption legislation in the world. Raghav has demonstrable experience in dealing with critical issues relating to data privacy.
