Upamanyu is a corporate and commercial lawyer with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and regulatory compliance. He advises clients on complex cross-border deals, including PE/VC investments, business transfers, corporate restructurings, and share buybacks, and guides them through associated regulatory filings.

Beyond transactional work, Upamanyu provides ongoing corporate advisory to clients across the IT/ITES, FMCG, and business outsourcing sectors. Additionally, he advises clients on employment matters including workforce restructuring, outsourcing arrangements, and employment policies.

Upamanyu also advises foreign manufacturers and importers on product compliance matters helping them align their products and process with Indian regulatory requirements. His work covers consumer electronics and textiles, including advice on import regulations, mandatory certification standards, and domestic manufacturing compliances.

Upamanyu holds a BA-LLB (Hons) from the National Law University Odisha (2020).
