Karan Singh Chandhiok leads the Competition and Regulatory Practice at Chandhiok & Mahajan. His practice spans merger control, antitrust investigations, complex litigation, and strategic counselling on competition law. Widely recognised as one of India’s foremost antitrust lawyers, Karan has represented leading domestic and international companies such as Google, Intel, Hyundai, Michelin, Panasonic, Bain Capital, Hellman & Friedman, and Indorama in some of the most complex and high-profile matters before the Competition Commission of India (CCI), NCLAT, and the Supreme Court of India​.
Karan has secured landmark outcomes, including immunity for Panasonic and Trident in cartel cases, and favourable results for clients such as FabHotels and Intel in abuse of dominance and vertical restraint proceedings. He was invited to make submissions before the Government of India’s Committee on Digital Competition Law (CDCL), and regularly advises industry bodies such as the US-India Business Council (USIBC) and ASSOCHAM on regulatory developments​.
He serves as Co-Chair of the National Council on Competition Law and Secretary of the Competition Law Bar Association.
