C&M wins Supreme Court relief in bid rejection case 

Chandhiok & Mahajan successfully represented Karam Chand Thapar & Bros. (Coal Sales) Ltd. before the Supreme Court in a matter involving bid rejection and forfeiture of EMD by MAHAGENCO on alleged blacklisting grounds.

The blacklisting order, issued by another entity, had already been stayed by the Calcutta High Court. The Supreme Court held that, with the stay in force, no blacklisting operated against our client. The Supreme Court overturned the EMD forfeiture and directed prompt refund.
